  • Athlete Notes

    Building off the power clean from last week athletes are aiming to add 5-10lbs on each of the 2 working windows today. Focus on explosive push through the floor with the shoulders on top as long as possible while we create momentum and weightlessness on the bar. The intervals come around fast, so we have just enough time for a quick reset and recovery.

    Conditioning today builds the lower body fatugue in a hurry. Pushing the pace on the bike seem like it will pay off, but the dumbbell work will sneak up through the set of 21. With the db outside of the feet athletes can bring one head of each to the floor before finding the shoulder, then overhead positions. Hit this at a pace you can hold and aim to increase in the final round slightly.
